In tradition the NFHL will hold its GM 'Meetings' (aka Survey) on January 20th. NFHL GM's will have a week to review and provide comments. Results will be reviewed during the NHL All Star Game break.
The 'meetings' are an opportunity for NFHL GM's to provide feedback and suggestions to continue to improve league play. The survey will include suggested rule changes or any item regarding league structure. In the league's 25th season the league moved the Phase 2 free agent selection process in to the season by a week or so mainly due to the structure of the statistics provider, Officepools. These items will be reviewed in the meetings as well.
It is also projected that the 2019 NFHL Salary Cap could be in the $83M range which would be an increase of approximately $3.5M from this season. The final salary cap amount will not be determined until the off season.
