Annual
NHL Playoff Pool
The "Pool" that started it all began
during the 1986 NHL Playoffs in which a participants
"drafted" 10 players during a 10 round
selection process. This continued until the 1995
season when due to logistics the draft format
was replaced with "box" selection format.
The format has had alterations over the years
but it the main reason the NFHL exists today.
